Business Development Technician (Industrial Production – Industry 4.0)

Job Information:

CADE looks for a Business Development Technician to join its department of Business Development, regrding sales of services and technical solutions in the production and manufacturing industries.

CADE is a relevant engineering, consulting and technology company in sectors of energy and industrial production, among others. This company provides advanced engineering, design and simulation services, process and mechanical consultancy, as well as the development of engineering products and its own technology in the energy and industrial field.

Job Responsibilities:

In close collaboration with Business Development Managers (BDM’s), Business Development Technician main responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, connecting and qualifying leads within targeted sectors
  • Managing and maintaining CRM database, along with the marketing department, as a Business Intelligence Unit
  • Generating opportunities, elaborating offers and negotiating contracts, in coordination with the rest of the team involved
  • National and international projects management and sales monitoring
  • Using sales intelligence systems (to monitor and identify new opportunities or competitors)
  • Organizing and supporting events (fairs, workshops, etc.)

Job Requirements/Skills:

  • Minimum qualifications required: basic technical training of industrial engineering (certificate of higher education, college/university degree or equivalent professional qualification)
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in companies of technical engineering services or suppliers of industrial equipment and products
  • Advanced Level of English (C1)
  • Deep knowledge of the industrial business in central and southeast Spain (manufacturing processes, product development, machinery development,…)
  • Potential customers’ contacts and references within the processing industry or in the industrial products manufacturing companies
  • Immediate availability
  • Openness to travel
