Smart Factories

Advanced robotics, automation and digitalisation solutions to optimise industrial processes and develop more efficient, flexible and intelligent production systems.

Automating an operation only pays off if the system integrates into the existing line, maintains quality and can be operated by plant staff.

Manufacturers that need to increase capacity or free staff from repetitive tasks, plants with welding, handling or palletizing operations that are hard to solve with standard solutions, and production managers who need reliable data on the state of their process.

Services

Automation, robotics and digitalisation

Most production lines combine equipment from different periods and manufacturers. That is why every project starts from the real process: which operations are worth automating, how the new system integrates with what already exists, and what data is needed to control it.

Industrial automation

Repetitive handling and palletizing operations limit a line’s capacity and concentrate ergonomic risks. CADE designs and integrates process automation and handling and palletizing cells adapted to the existing line.

Advanced robotics

Welding variable parts or short series is hard to robotise with conventional programming, and many loading and unloading tasks are still manual. CADE has developed its own robotic welding system with machine vision and a collaborative robotics line.

Industrial digitalisation

Without real-time process data, deviations are detected when they are already affecting quality or production. CADE implements monitoring and control systems and develops digital twins that reproduce the behaviour of equipment and processes.

Custom developments

When no machine or system on the market solves the problem, CADE designs it to measure, and develops and validates it in its Innovation Factory.

Own technology

Robotics developed by CADE

Two robotics technologies developed by CADE.

intelligent robotic welding

SRW · Smart Robotic Welding

Technology developed by CADE to automate welding processes. It integrates a robotic arm and a machine vision system that recognises the joint and tracks it in space, adapting the torch stand-off and angles in real time and adjusting the welding parameters, as a qualified welder would. It is applied in vessels and tank fabrication, pipes and ducts, and structural steelwork.

CADE Cobots

Turnkey collaborative robotics solutions for pick & place, machine tending, palletizing, quality inspection or screwdriving. In its first installation, a cobot took over the loading and unloading of an existing welding robot without interrupting the workshop’s activity.

Where it is developed

Innovation Factory

The Innovation Factory was created for the conception, development and realisation of industrial solutions. As CADE’s technology hub, it drives the development of in-house solutions in industrial automation, collaborative robotics, digital simulation, industrial data analysis and intelligent control.
